Why Copper?
99% or greater efficiency saves money on electrical bills: Copper is a better conductor of electricity. True, some companies use aluminum, but why? Mostly because it's less expensive, allowing them to make a bigger profit. Copper has the highest electrical conductivity of all engineering materials, and runs cooler than its aluminum equivalent, which means it lasts longer. Copper wound transformers are easier to install, so you can be up and running faster. Copper is also more corrosion resistant, so our replacement transformers have a longer life. Since they need less maintenance, they have a less expensive life cycle.
